It is a lot faster to be seen immediately for a serious back problem by a chiropractor. Emergency Room doctors are not equipped to begin treatment for an emergency back pain problem. There is a good chance you will be kept waiting in a room full of sick people. You will be X-rayed right away to determine the nature of your back pain. You will receive treatment right away. Now if you are looking for a prescription for your back pain problem then we suggest that you do go to the Emergency Room. Chiropractors do not prescribe medication. We, chiropractors, remove the causes of your pain rather than cover them up with drugs.
The first thing you would need to do is text, Dr.Brian. His cell is 203-550-5834. He will respond as soon as he sees your text. The next step is to briefly explain the pain you are currently having and leave the phone number you would like to be reached on. Dr.Brian will call you back as fast as he can to discuss your care. He will also text you directions on Google Maps. You will meet him at the office to be examined and treated. Since we can not verify your insurance you will be expected to pay for your visit at that time.
You will be seen right away. There is no waiting. Your x-ray will take a few minutes, and Dr.Brian is trained to read X-rays to diagnose the problem. An ER visit will require way too many steps before you are seen. As mentioned earlier, do you really want to sit in a room with sick people? Then you will be seen by someone who does not have the ability to start immediate treatment. By the time you get to the pharmacy, it will probably be several hours. We don't encourage emergency chiropractic visits but when needed Core Health Darien wants to help, even if you are just visiting for a few days. Dr. Brian will coordinate ongoing care with your chiropractor at home. If you do not have a chiropractor he will refer you to one in your area.
